  7. I L.O.V.E the I heart series, especially Alex. I practically cry my eyes out every time Alex and Angela have an argument in the books especially in I heart Vegas. Can’t wait for I heart London!!!!! Will be counting down the days until it’s released 🙂 x

  9. I just loved reading your books but is struggling to find I HEART PARIS….. The books remind me of myself….Im originally from the suburbs of NY but have been living inbetween Liverpool and Manchester for many years now…. I could easily be one of your characters

    Cherie

  10. I love your books & after reading them part of me feels like I love you… In a completely non-freaky way! Never before have I felt completely captured by a book, but I got married in Vegas in May and moved from the north of england to the South.. I heart vegas made me laugh, made me cry, made me not put my kindle down once. Thank you SO much. Although you are kinda’ a bad influence as i have just treated myself to a new Marc Jacobs satchel (Your book reminded me just how tatty mine was). If my husband asks it was £50.00 or I’m in trouble :/ <3x

  11. Hi Lindsey

I’ve never been a person who has been a fan of anyone really like bands etc and certainly never felt the need to contact them.

Every single one of your books had me gripped, I can relate in my own little way to the stories, I get lost when im reading them. I never get excited about many things but waiting for the next release has done that.

This sounds very sad and stupid but your books inspire me and most importantly make me feel genuinely happy when I read them.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for your talent and I hope you continue to bring out more books.

P.s hope I haven’t came across weird lol…this is so out of the blue and random for me to do

    Helen x

  12. I am not a reader but I am in love with your ‘heart’ books.

thank you for taking me away to a place that is lovely. x

  13. I love love love all your books and have now managed to get all the girls at work hooked too! Please tell us you will be writing more very soon?!! x

  14. Just had to say that I love your books!

    Thanks for them 🙂

  15. i love reading all the books you have written so far and ive just finished i heart vegas and was wondering when i heart london was coming out?

  16. Nathalie Richard

    Hi Lindsey,

I’m a fan and I have the first 3 heart book in the light color (with the hearts on them). I was wondering if that alternative color will be available for Vegas? I can’t wait to read it but I can’t find the cover to match my collection. If it’s not going to happen I would still get the first cover book! Could you please let me know… My impulsiveness is going to come over me soon…haha

Thanks, for your books… Keep them coming!
    Nathalie

    • Hi Nathalie,
Sorry if I’m being stupid – which cover are you talking about? Not sure whereabouts you’re based and all the different countries have different covers, just to be difficult!
      L xx

  17. Nathalie Richard

    Hey Lindsey,
I’m sorry I should’ve been more specifique…They are the light colors(pink, golden yellow almost orange and light blue with a black shilouette of a woman on the cover). I bought them on amazon.ca…so I’m assuming they are the Canadian version!?…lol

As far as I could tell I was able to choose the other cover ( I’m assuming “American”!) for the other books but so far I only have the one selection for the Vegas one.

I’m probably just going to order it anyway…can’t wait to read it and I almost had a mini heart attack when I saw that I heart London is coming out!

Thank you so much for your books…they give me hope that one day I too will be able to visit all these places and have adventures of my own! You’re an amazing author! 🙂

    Thanks also for repling!

    Nathalie xo

  18. Whilst reading I heart New York on a sandy Egyptian Beach in 2010 I knew that I would be addicted to the series! Having stayed in one of the reccommended hotels you mentioned at the end, I knew New York was for me and the story inspired me to get out there again.
Now I am 19, I have just secured a job in America on my own for the Summer, and of course will be stopping off at my old friend, NYC.
Your books have inspired me to be spontaneous and go out there and that I can meet friends on my own.
I Heart Vegas will be my read from Heathrow to JFK, of course.

    Thanks

    Alicia 🙂

  20. Ekaterina Malkova

Hello! My name is Katy and I’m from Russia. I’m wondered your books so much. When I read it real life is stopping around me. Thank you for your good job. Last book witch was translated to Russian is ” I heart Paris” and I can’t wait more to translate next story about Vegas.
    Best emotion from Russia.

  21. Hi Lindsey, I’m from Germany and I love your books! And now I found out that you are a WWE fan – just as I am :o) That is really cool.

    Greetins from Germany
    Julia

  22. Just found out that we both hate pickles …nobody can understand that (I wonder why?! they’re disgusting)nNow I love you even more!
I’m reading I heart vegas at the moment and of course Angela and Jenny wouldn’t have stayed in a tiny (bloody) hotel room – of course there is no ‘normal’ upgrade…how could I even think that it would be a ‘normal’ one? that ANYTHING would be normal in this city?
I love your style of writing, it’s just so – real? And TRUE. It’s just the truth. The truth what girls do.
Please never ever stop writing! 🙂
    X Mona

  27. Louise hughes

    Hello Lindsey

I was wondering if your are going to b writing a new I heart book after I heart London ???

  28. Jennifer Bradshaw

I have had your I Heart ……. Series recommended to me however I prefer knowing how many there are in a series prior to commencement. Are there more to follow if so any idea how many?

Many thanks in advance, an eagerly awaiting reader

    Jeni Bradshaw

  29. Love your book ‘The Single Girl’s To-Do list’. I think it is about me! You have inspired me to write my own list… http://abbeymayd.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/lindsey-kelk-single-girls-to-do-list.html
Thanks for the inspiration and the great read!

  30. Hi there,
While I appreciate and understand any and all criticism of my books, leaving a comment that actually felt very much like a personal attack on the ‘contact me’ page of my website didn’t seem like the right place to open the debate. I have several reasons for this, the least of them not being because I’ve approved a comment like yours before the person leaving the comment was attacked quite aggressively by people who didn’t agree. Also, I fully understand that you might not personally enjoy my books but I’m actually am very happy that you felt so moved to go to the trouble of finding my website, leaving an anonymous comment and then coming back again to see whether or not it had been published. The books aren’t for everyone, I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy them, I hope you have lots of other reading material to keep you busy.
    Lindsey

  31. Surely any criticism should be left on Amazon or other sites for reviews? I’m not sure what anyone would be looking to achieve by a personal attack on the authors website. I would think that this site is for people to thank/compliment the author personally rather than a faceless review on Amazon. Purely attention seeking and an effort to make someone feel bad based on being an inferior being themselves.

  32. Oh and I personally enjoy escaping with a nice girly read after brain frazzle at work.

  33. Wow. Defo a touch of green eye. If someone wants to publish Lindsay, then lucky Lindsay. I prefer to leave my reviews where people actually look when purchasing. Seems to make more sense to me but maybe I’m as crazy as true. Oh dear me.

  34. Some people feel that putting other people down, lifts them up. Don’t waste your time worrying about this one person, think about the load of people that have enjoyed your writing. I saw on twitter that someone had written rubbish on here but I wasn’t expecting to see such a carefully written load of bull****. I guess some people just have the time.

  35. Joanie from GEORGIA!

I’m with Lisa on this one! I also love to escape with a nice girly read after brain frazzle at work & “real life!” It is a nice escape from reality! I love your writing Lindsey! I love modern day british books & I have really been finding some great authors lately & I got a hold of “I heart New York” & I finished it so fast…I’ve got to get my hands on the next one! I fell in love with Alex! Thank you for making me feel as if I could be bold & adventurous as well! I want to move to London, on my own, one day! Or possibly, somewhere else…Atlanta, GA just isn’t for me much longer!

Your book has really inspired me to be bold & adventurous!

P.S. There is no reason to be completely rude & put someone down just because you don’t like something they’ve written. Lisa is right, she should have put her review & comment on some page where the buyer could see it, not personally attack the author…

  36. Hi Lindsey, hi Rowan!

LOVED your novels, am reading them again and again and again.

I’ve just read the NY and Paris ones yet but luuurved them! 🙂

I have lived in Paris for some years and could really relate to your vision of the city ie French girls’ natural beauty and their sheer effortless chic!

    Just 3 points:

    1. in the NY book Jenny eats and eats and eats while staying super thin. As a woman who tries to stay thin I find this very annoying! Is she superhuman or what??
I’d appreciate if you’d transformed her into a “normal” woman in one of your next novels and made her gain a lot of weight. Haha!

    2. Why is Angela so clumsy and drunk all the time in Paris?
This adds no appeal to the novel and is rather annoying and distracting.
Trust me your story line and characters are interesting enough, No need to
add all the alcohol and falling over.

    3. As somewhat of a night owl I’d appreciate if Angela stayed awake longer or would read in bed sometimes or not be able to fall asleep. It’s like as soon as she’s in bed or on a sofa she’s asleep already. Why?

    Kind regards!

    Monika

  37. p.s. among many other things, (like naming a beautiful and mysterious girl solene) i loved that you named the hotel receptionist in paris alain. i personally know 2 alain receptionists in paris and 1 in brussels 🙂

p.p.s. erase the haters’ comments! you don’t deserve to be attacked!

  38. dear true

i noticed that you give sophie kinsella a lot of praise.

in case you haven’t noticed or read, but in the book where shopaholic
is pregnant, she consults her husband’s ex who is a gynaecologist.

this is announced sheepishly at the book cover to make the reader curious.

but of course shopaholic never actually has to have a real (embarassing?) examination, all the ex does is look nonchalantly at her stomach.

sorry, this is not what i would call “chick-lit of the good variety”

luring the readers with a somewhat embarassing ordeal most pregnant women have to go through (and with the husband’s ex involved!) at the book cover and then shying away from describing THE REAL THING in the book because the subject is too touchy-feely – sorry,
to me that’s plain deceitful, disappointing and just cowardice.

at least lindsey has never done anything like that!

    i will never touch a book by s.k. again that’s for sure….

    regards

    monika

    • the ex is super glamourous of course to make the reader even more curious, forgot to mention that.
sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language.

  39. Surely this is becoming something you would class a bullying. Give it a rest.

  40. Please never stop writing! I love your books and I love Angela!

Reading your books always put a smile on my face!

    Kelly

  41. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy reading your books and I can’t believe that someone is sad enough to write abusive comments on your site.I just thought to every negative there’s a positive and I hope i’ve accomplisbed that. Im just reading I heart london at the moment and im almost finished. If you have the time to let me know what books are coming next i would love to hear from you.thank you xxx

  42. I have just returned home from a rather non-exciting week in Tenerife in an awful hotel, and the only thing that got me through it was reading Paris, Vegas and London, loved loved loved them. Thanks, and I look forward to reading your future work

  43. Does the story in these books follow on or are they stand alone stories

I have just downloaded I heart London on my Kindle but don’t want to start reading if there is a series order to read these in.

  44. I’m mesmerized by your work.. You are by far the only author whose writing I can relate to.. And i would have been Angela if maybe i didn’t belong to a conservative Indian family.. NYC is my dream.. and you just make it come alive everytime i read one of your books.. Can’t wait for About A Girl.. Load of love and luck for all your future writing.. (I hope there’s a lot of it)
    P xo

  45. im desperate for you to answer a question for me as im doing an english presentation on you and your book “I heart NewYork”… Which authors and books inspired you to write “I heart NewYork” ?

  46. Sadiea Mustafa-Awan

Will the I heart books be made into films? They would be awesome to watch!!!!

  47. I read I Heart New York years ago and could not for the life of me find the sequels. I finally re-read it and bought all of them. Best decision ever, I loved them, they are hilarious. You are a great writer! Please write more. I try to get anyone that’s interested in reading to read these books.

    Thanks for all the laughs!

  48. Me and my friend have read all your books and went on holiday this summer where we were both reading them. LOVE LOVE LOVE them all. Please give us more 🙂 your amazing!

  49. Hello I have read 2 of the 5 “I heart” books but have now completed purchasing the collection and was just wondering what order they go un so I can start again from the beginning because I think I may have read the middle two and missed the first one.
    Thanks 🙂

    • The order is as follows,
      I Heart New York
      I Heart Hollywood
      I Heart Paris
      I Heart Vegas
      I Heart London

Hope this helps! Enjoy the books!

  50. Love these books! Just wondering will there by anymore books in the ‘ I heart series’? I really hope so!! Thanks for writing such great books you’re an inspiration!! 😀

  51. Love your books! Can’t put them down. More please 🙂

  52. I could hardly imagine being as good and intersting a writter as you are. First ,because I am a francophone, second…because I am 14 and third, obviously,I am not you. I aspire to reach your level, but that is all it is. Please note that i love your books, they are ,in all honesty, my chocolate books,.The ones I like to indulge in for fun reading, when i dont have to read stupid history books.

  53. Dear Lindsey,
I just read all your books, all the I Hearts and The Single Girls to Do List, please tell me there’s another I Heart coming up, i miss reading your books too much to function!

  54. Just want to say how much I love your books, I completely get lost in the I heart series and I find myself distraught when I’ve finished a book as I have to wait for the next one to be delivered 🙂 please say there will be a new one soon or if not I heart something to keep me sane once again x x x
